Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of the Wellstar School of Nursing for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Nursing discipline

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia

AND

To teach undergraduate courses:
A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in (Nursing) or a closely related discipline is required.

OR

To teach graduate courses:
A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Nursing or a related discipline is required, such as DNP, PhD, EdD.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in nursing education or serving as a preceptor for nursing students in clinical settings
• 1-2 years of Clinical experience in the teaching specialty area
• Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses
