Part Time Faculty, History

The Department of History within the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at DePaul University invites applications for part-time faculty in Chinese History, African American History, Environmental History, or the History of Sports. Part-time teaching opportunities are limited at the moment but applicants with expertise in preferred areas will be contacted for an interview. While courses are not guaranteed, the Department does its best to give ample notice about available courses and potential course cancellations.

Qualifications

• PhD in History or related field preferred, ABD status in a PhD program considered.
• Online teaching experience is welcome.

This posting is for undergraduate, introductory-level courses in the following areas: Chinese History, African American History; Environmental History, History of Sports.

Salary Information

The anticipated hiring rate of this position is between $4,500 and $5,600 per course, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
