Note: All part-time faculty appointments are temporary and do not confer academic rank. Final determination of part-time teaching assignments is contingent upon student enrollment figures and funding. In addition to teaching, the position requires weekly office hours and participation in assessment of student learning. Qualifications: Prior teaching experience in specialty area & evidence of teaching effectiveness (e.g., student and peer evaluations, etc.) preferred. Ph.D. from an accredited institution desirable; Broad-based traditional doctoral training is Preferred. Applicants must provide evidence of outstanding ability and commitment to teaching, mentoring and working with a diverse student population.

**This is a highly specialized course, which is core to the psychology master's program (with a specialization in clinical psychology). Qualifications must include: 1) a doctoral degree in an area of clinical psychology. 2) Prior graduate level teaching experience in topics of clinical psychology (preferred teaching of a psychopathology graduate-level course with evidence of teaching effectiveness). 3) Research background (with recent publication and/or presentations) in the area of clinical psychology. 4) Evidence of outstanding commitment to university teaching in a multicultural environment serving a diverse student population.

***In addition to the requirements marked under the **, applicants must be a licensed clinical psychologist in the State of California.

Salary Range: Fractional Amount of Base Salary ($5507-$6221) Paid in six monthly payments.
