Part-time instructor Sociology - Bellarmine University
The Sociology and Anthropology Department at Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY is seeking part-time instructors to teach Introduction to Sociology and Sociological Theory. Preferred applicants will have experience teaching sociology courses, familiarity with Bellarmine or liberal arts institutions. In addition to the course, the instructor is expected to be available to students, including a minimum of one hour of office hours held weekly and during finals week. The courses are taught in person and on campus.
At Bellarmine, Introduction to Sociology is an introductory course that provides foundational understanding of key sociological perspectives and theories related to the organization of society, human interaction, and human behavior. Sociological Theory is an in-depth examination of selected classical and contemporary works in Sociology.
