The Department of Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania is growing and offers several exciting positions for community based dermatologists. Opportunities are available in a variety of high-volume, state of the art practice locations, including several nestled in idyllic suburbs just outside the city, featuring scenic landscapes, appealing shopping and dining areas, proximity to both Philadelphia and New York City, excellent school districts, a wide range of outdoor activities and outstanding quality of life.
Duties: Penn Medicine utilizes electronic medical records, with guidance and support for quality programs, such as MACRA and MIPS, and a dedicated focus on physician wellness. Flexibility, highly stimulating academic environment and generous benefits are hallmarks of these positions.
Qualifications: Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree or equivalent degree, PA licensure (without restrictions) and DEA licensure required; and be board certified or board eligible in Dermatology. 0-1 year of work experience of related experience in a specified medical field. Candidates must have demonstrated qualifications in education and clinical care, with excellent leadership skills to maintain practice operations and outstanding patient care across the site. Full time clinical positions with and without teaching requirements are available. Experience in a busy Dermatology practice is preferred.
Penn Medicine Clinician provides health care services on a full-time or part-time basis in an owned or affiliated health care entity of Penn Medicine or The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Provides inpatient hospital services as required and fulfills all medico-administrative duties associated with membership on each hospital medical staff of which clinician is a member. May participate in a minimum of 50 hours per year of active and high quality teaching or equivalent service. Performs prompt, courteous and competent professional services in accordance with generally accepted professional standards for such services and with the standards established from time to time. Maintains license to practice medicine without restriction or limitation in Pennsylvania or location of affiliates, if applicable.
