"Per Diem Clinical Assistant- Martha Eliot Health Center"

Department Summary

Boston Children's at Martha Eliot offers primary and preventive care for children, adolescents, and young adults, including well-child appointments and sick visits, as well as specialty services like behavioral health and optometry.

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting clinician during examinations (i.e. obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of clinic).
• Collecting, verifying and recording required information according to established procedures and instructions.
• Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse.
• Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed.
• Working per diem- day/evening rotation, Thursday evenings and weekend rotation to the main campus primary care clinic. Holiday coverage.

Minimum qualifications:

Education:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• 1 year direct patient care experience required.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Pedi experience preferred.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
