In the multidisciplinary team of Univ.Prof.Dr. Christoph Rademacher, at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Vienna, is a short term position for a PhD student available. The position is limited to three months and is expected to begin on October 1, 2025.

Your future tasks:

• You are involved in research projects and scientific studies in the area of targeted delivery to Langerhans cells.
• You are an expert in NMR spectroscopy and the use of associated software for data processing.
• You work on your dissertation and its completion.
• You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.
• You take on administrative tasks in research, teaching and administration.

This is part of your personality:

• Completed Master's degree or Diploma, in the field Chemistry, Biotechnology or Biochemistry
• Basic experience in academic writing and with research methods
• Successfull passed public presentation at the Faculty (FÖP), signed doctoral thesis agreement, completed annual progress reports
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (C1 Level)
• IT user skills: e.g. Bruker TopSpin, MestreNova
• Desireable knowledge is isothermal calorimetry, thermodynamics, protein-ligand interactions, mammalian cell culture work, protein expression purification, protein refolding.
• You should be a team player with high social skills
