The Doctoral School provides cutting-edge scientific training for doctoral candidates in all fields of studies. It aims to attract excellent students from around the world and guide them towards research at the forefront of studies in a vibrant community.

The Doctoral School offers a 12-months Completion Contract for fellows who have held a position as University Assistant (praedoc) or a PhD position at the University of Vienna. This contract supports highly qualified fellows in the final phase of doctoral studies. The recipient will be employed as University Assistants (praedoc) at the Department of Business Law-Tax Law.

Your future tasks:

• Complete and submit your dissertation.
• Meet and consult with your supervisor(s) regularly to prioritize tasks and get support.
• Participate in department and Doctoral School activities and workshops.
• Participate in conferences and publish results in peer-reviewed journals.
• Seek support such as workshops, training, and coaching if necessary.

General expectations:

• Above-average MA or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Excellent academic record.
• High motivation to complete doctoral studies on time.
• Excellent command of German (C1 level) and good English.
• Collaborative and proactive attitude.
• High communication skills.
• Experience with University of Vienna structures.
• Completed Master's degree or Diploma in Law or Business.
