The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking a qualified individual as a Photography And Digital Imaging Technician. The incumbent under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform a variety of technical and specialized duties related to the preparation, operation and maintenance of a film based photography laboratory, multiple digital photography and digital imaging computer laboratories, commercial lighting studio, and related areas; operate and demonstrate the use of specialized equipment and instructional material; provide information and technical assistance to faculty and students. AT-A-GLANCE POSITION INFORMATION:

This recruitment will establish an eligibility list valid for 6 months and will be used to fill current and future vacancies.

Type of position: Full-Time - Monday - Friday.

Salary: Range CL-36
$28.60- $35.78 Hourly
$4,958 - $6,201 Monthly (based on 40 hours per week)
Initial Salary Placement: New employees start at Step A ($28.60 per hour) or Step B ($30.25 per hour) on the salary schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Any combination of training and experience equivalent to:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Associate Degree in Photography, two years college-level course work with specialized training in photography and digital imaging, and two years' experience in a photography laboratory.
