Physician-Researcher Nephrology
Job Summary: As a physician-researcher in the Rotterdam Kidney Lab, you will focus on clinical research into rare kidney diseases. You will play a key role in guiding ongoing and future phase 1/2 studies, collaborate closely with research nurses, and ensure the safe and high-quality execution of research. You will also have the opportunity to set up and lead your own research project in collaboration with translational researchers.
Responsibilities: Guide phase 1/2 studies, take medical responsibility for participants, work with a team on clinical trials and kidney physiology, and contribute to a PhD trajectory focused on rare and genetic kidney diseases.
Qualifications and Requirements: A completed medical degree, affinity with nephrology, experience or strong interest in clinical and scientific research, ability to function in a multidisciplinary team, and a curious, analytical, and careful working style.
What the Employer Offers: A 2-year appointment with the intention to extend to 3 or 4 years, a gross monthly salary between €3,598 and €5,669 for a 36-hour workweek, a 13th month payment, travel allowance, pension insurance with 70% employer contribution, and access to sports facilities.
