Post Doctoral Scholar
Research performed is the studying of stem cell and organoid biology, neurodegenerative disease with an emphasis on mitochondrial dysfunction and non-coding RNAs. The research will integrates human iPSC-derived models and mouse systems, and a translational focus toward clinically relevant therapies. Research will utilize electrophysiology as well as molecular biology workflows; comfort with bioinformatics/omics (e.g., scRNA-seq, ATAC-seq) and AI-assisted data analysis in addition to familiarity with mitochondrial assays, live-cell imaging, or high-content/automated analysis.
Minimum qualifications:
Professional degrees in any of the applicable: Biomedical Engineering, Neurobiology, Neurosciences. 0+ years of related experience required. Experience with human iPSCs, directed differentiation, and/or cerebral organoids, electrophysiology skills (e.g., patch-clamp, MEA), proficiency with molecular biology workflows; comfort with bioinformatics/omics (e.g., scRNA-seq, ATAC-seq) and AI-assisted data analysis and familiarity with mitochondrial assays, live-cell imaging, or high-content/automated analysis preferred.
