PostDoc vacancy cryo-EM LmTRF-ds telomeric DNA

Mandatory requirements: PhD in genetics or biochemistry obtained within the last three years, with experience and proficiency in recombinant protein production techniques, protein biochemistry, molecular biophysics, and protein-DNA interaction assays; knowledge of telomere structure and maintenance, cryo-electron microscopy (including image processing and computational methods for atomic model reconstruction), and the MDeNM and MDeNM-MSM methodologies.

Desirable requirements: Knowledge of Leishmania spp. molecular biology and protein biophysics; publications in indexed journals in the field or in a field related to the project's objectives.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,570.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
