The Department of Biostatistics, Data Science and Epidemiology (BDSE) in the School of Public Health at Augusta University (AU) invites applications for a post-doctoral fellow in epidemiology to start in Summer 2026. Applicants should have experience, interest and ability in cardiovascular disease epidemiology research in women. The position will remain open until filled.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:
- Participate in project planning and development of research protocols...
- Analyze results of experiments...
- Coordinate and participate in research of scientific literature...
- Compose articles for publication...
- Work with students...
- Calibrate, troubleshoot...
- Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university in Epidemiology or a closely related field. M.D./PhD candidates with experience and interest in cardiovascular disease epidemiology will also be considered.

KNOWLEDGE
Proficient in Microsoft Office... Proficiency in at least one of the popular programming languages...

Excellent interpersonal... Good organizational skills...

Ability to maintain confidentiality... Willingness and ability to work with research animals.
