Postdoctoral Positions - Nutrient Signaling in Cancer Biology and Therapy, Rutgers Cancer Institute
We invite applications for postdoctoral research positions focused on nutrient signaling and its roles in cancer biology and therapy. Our research investigates how cell signaling pathways regulating growth and metabolism, particularly the mTOR pathway, impact disease processes such as cancer and diabetes. Using integrated experimental and systems biology approaches, we aim to uncover novel mechanisms that influence normal physiology and therapeutic responses. We are especially interested in how aberrant alterations in these pathways affect cancer progression and treatment outcomes. Rutgers Cancer Institute offers access to state-of-the-art facilities and a highly collaborative research environment in the vibrant New York City metropolitan area. We are seeking highly motivated candidates with a recent Ph.D. in molecular cellular biology, cancer biology, pharmacology, or a related field. Prior experience with mouse models and/or bioinformatics is especially valued. Strong motivation, scientific curiosity, publication record, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.
