Role Overview
The Tabar Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with a background in molecular biology and pluripotent stem cells and interested in developing translational models in glioma immunobiology. Experience with bioinformatics and handling of single RNA and ATAC sequencing is preferred. The candidate will be working closely with the Glioma Immunology subgroup within the lab which is highly collaborative and includes undergraduate and graduate trainees in addition to postdocs and is a core member of the Center for Stem Cell Biology and the Brain Tumor Center at SKI. This position is focused on modeling CNS cancers using human pluripotent stem cell platforms.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- MD or PhD or MD/PhD with experience in molecular biology and pluripotent stem cell systems.
- Experience with single cell RNA/ATAC/Multiome sequencing.
- Two or more scientific publications with significant involvement
Core Skills:
- Strong background in molecular biology and pluripotent stem cell systems
- Bioinformatics and single cell sequencing (RNA/ATAC/Multiome)
