Essential Job Duties:

• Conduct research related to motor control/learning, biomechanics and adaptation in human participants.
• Develop corresponding novel control strategies and support grant application.
• Develop control systems and rehabilitation devices.
• Disseminate results through publication and reports.
• Seek funding support for research.
• Support other lab activities, such as recruitment and outreach.
• Mentor graduate students and undergraduates

Departmental Required Skills: Five years of experience in biomedical engineering and related fields

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: Experience with conducting research on patient populations
Experience with working with clinicians and multi-disciplinary research teams
Programming skills (Python, MATLAB, C++, LabVIEW etc.)
