  • Remuneration: $109,157 to $118,193 pa (HEW6) (inclusive of $92,239 to $99,875 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
  • Location: Kelvin Grove

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Practice Coordinator to join Student Services, People Services, Administrative Division.

The Practice Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the QUT Medical Centres and broader department by ensuring exceptional client service, as well as efficient information, operational and administrative services. This position supports the Associate Director, Health and Medical Services coordinate the administrative and support services for the Medical Centre and department. The Practice Coordinator plays a key role in providing day-to-day supervision and coordination of the Medical Reception team to ensure the delivery of a cohesive client focused service across our student and medical service sites.

Student Services is responsible for providing a range of services to support the health and wellbeing of students in areas of accommodation, chaplaincy, counselling, accessibility and disability support, international student support, welfare services and QUT Medical Centres..

What you need to succeed

  1. Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a degree with subsequent relevant work experience.
  2. Demonstrated experience in the coordination of administrative or support services in a Medical Centre.
  3. Proven experience in providing supervision and coordination of a small service delivery team.
  4. Highly developed written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with others and effectively liaise and negotiate with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
  5. Proven digital literacy using a range of applications and databases, including the ability to gather, interpret and analyse data.
  6. Demonstrated high level planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
