Principal Rad Tech - Mammography - Pavilion Imaging - FT - Day
Position Summary: The Principle Radiologic Technologist performs a full range of general and diagnostic radiologic procedures, including but not limited to DEXA scanning, and the advanced level diagnostic procedures including but not limited to: Mammography screening/diagnostic and procedures of the breast, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, etc. Completes MQSA reporting as requested. Acts as a technical resource for the department. Participates in the training of less senior Radiologic Technologists, and students. Able to rotate to other UCI Imaging Clinics.
Required Qualifications: Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties; Must meet MQSA Technologist Requirements; Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job; Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Excellent planning, organization and time management skills; CRT in both Radiologic and Mammography; Ability to travel to clinics, and other campus offices; Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload; ARRT in both Radiologic and Mammography.
Preferred Qualifications: Venipuncture Certification; Knowledge of university and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms; DEXA Experience; Advanced certifications and licensures in other imaging modalities.
Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support.
