"Production Tech"

The Production Techs provide general AV support for special events and athletic operations at the Schottenstein Center.

Production techs will work in the following areas:

• Theatrical lighting for house produced events
• Audio for press conferences and house produced events
• Conference Services AV
• Assist in maintenance and upkeep of JSC AV equipment
• Assist during game operations for athletics events in the JSC

Additional Job Description

Time Commitment:

Up to 5 hours per week dedicated to office hours for projects and maintenance

10- hours per week dedicated to events (based on event calendar).. allows for Flexible Work Schedule!

A few qualifications we look for:

• Interest in sporting and entertainment events, and related technical equipment
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 4 hours or more, rain or shine
• Ability to lift, push, pull, carry equipment of 50 pounds or more
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work
• Availability to work primarily nights and weekends with some business hours available
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude at events at all times
• Ability to maintain and support open communication with Production Team
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving ability
• Possession of a strong, healthy work ethic
• Ability to multitask, understand priorities, and plan work in a timely manner
