- Remuneration: $94,099 to $106,134 pa (HEW5) (inclusive of $79,514 to $89,685 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
- Location: Gardens Point (hybrid option available)
- Open to: Current staff members of QUT who have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the fixed-term appointment. In support of our strategic priority of Indigenous Australian success, Aboriginal Australians and Torres Strait Islander people who are not QUT staff are also eligible and encouraged to apply. Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Program Administrator to join Office of the Vice-Chancellor and President, Chancellery Division.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Program Administrator with a passion for client service, providing high quality student and academic administration support services. The right person for this role will demonstrate: • commitment to high quality client service • dependability, agility and flexibility • polished organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail • a flair for communication and creative problem solving • high-level skills in the use of a range of software The Program Administrator works in a matrix of teams, supporting assigned programs and their staff, participants and corporate and government clients from various areas across QUT. The primary responsibilities of the position holder will involve the provision of student and administrative support for continuing professional education including client custom education and open professional education.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a client outcome-focused team in a diverse environment and to support harmonious and collaborative working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Demonstrated proactive organisational skills, delivering work with excellent attention to detail, organisational and problem solving skills, including the ability to prioritise and complete tasks within conflicting deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently provide advice and interpretation of policy and procedures associated with program management.
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with clients, members of the business community and University staff.
- Demonstrated digital literacy including experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite and demonstrated experience in the use of student/client management databases such as Salesforce and learning management systems such as Canvas and Courseloop.
