Respect and Safety Programs Coordinator

- Term: Fixed-term, full-time basis for three (3) years
- Remuneration: $120,443 to $131,749 pa (HEW7) (inclusive of $101,775 to $111,330 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
- Location: Gardens Point (hybrid option available)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Respect and Safety Programs Coordinator to join Equity, People Services, Administrative Division.
The Respect and Safety Programs Coordinator is responsible for the planning, development, and delivery of programs and reporting activities to support QUT's obligations under the National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender-based Violence 2025. This position plays a critical role in building institutional capability and ensuring QUT meets regulatory requirements through the design and delivery of evidence-based training, reporting mechanisms, and prevention initiatives.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree with subsequent relevant experience in gender-based violence prevention and response, equity, diversity, inclusion and social justice or a related discipline.
- Knowledge and understanding which demonstrates a high level of expertise in gender-based violence, including trauma-informed practice, intersectionality, and the National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender-based Violence 2025.
- Proven significant experience in effective training design and delivery, including gender-based violence training, utilising scaffolded learning approaches, virtual delivery and eLearning methodologies.
- Proven ability to successfully coordinate projects, develop and implement programs which contribute to strategic priorities, exercising judgement to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability provide advice and support, navigate complex social dynamics with empathy, sensitivity and professionalism, fostering positive and collaborative partnerships with various and diverse stakeholders across large organisations.
- Demonstrated attention to detail along with a high degree of skill in digital literacy, data analytics, evaluation and reporting.
- Excellent written communication skills with experience preparing communications, training materials, presentations, reports and submissions.
