Medical Education
Your Role on the Team
Supervises Admissions Recruitment Specialists and support staff and administers a portion of an admissions or recruitment program. Independently oversees day-to-day operations, and determines goals and performance expectations of subordinates. Makes recommendations on improvements to program / function to manager(s).
What It Takes to be Successful
Required:
- Demonstrated ability in supervising the work of others and the ability to organize and set priorities that accurately reflect department goals and objectives.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other business software.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to understand and interpret complex documents and data specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize critical thinking skills to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
- Effective writing and editing skills, including experience developing policy / procedures, reports and presentations.
- Strong knowledge of common University-specific computer application programs and knowledge of University and departmental principles and procedures involved in risk assessment.
- Ability to manage projects.
- Master's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
Preferred:
- Knowledge of human resources management policies with the ability to train, monitor, evaluate, and document human resources issues and performance.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
