Position Description
Designs, implements and manages an assigned program. Typical duties can include but are not limited to: Identify funding opportunities, conduct program assessments, prepare program reports, oversee and manage program marketing and communications, manage program databases, supervise program staff, plan research activities, coordinate program events, participate in strategic planning, manage program files, establish program standards and objectives, direct logistical activities to promote the success of programs, develop and implement project timelines and ensures deadlines are met, oversee program budget, ensure goals and objectives of grants are met, assists in proposal writing, comply and analyze program statistics.
Major/Essential Functions
- Oversee the appeal code process for Texas Tech University, including requesting, tracking, and analyzing the effectiveness of 50+ appeal codes used in annual giving appeals each year.
- Manage updates to the main giving form to reflect annual giving priorities and coordinate giving links and online forms.
- Support data tracking and reporting for annual giving, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Prepare reports and administrative materials to support strategic planning, appeal analysis, and analysis of year-over-year performance.
- Manage the annual giving inbox, providing timely responses to donor inquiries, routing questions to appropriate offices, and updating data as needed.
- Develop training materials, educational resources and other internal documentation to support colleges, schools, and units in annual giving.
- Partner with Leadership Annual Giving to align strategies and streamline communication to effectively support donor engagement.
- Evaluate annual giving reports and donor responses to assess leadership annual giving prospects.
- Utilize technology to enhance annual giving, including but not limited to Asana, ThankView, Anthology, and a donor database.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the annual giving program.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience developing or managing programs or projects. Additional job related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in marketing, higher education, or non-profit and experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud.
Pay Range
$40,500 - $52,600 - $64,800
