Project Coordinator and Developer (full time or part time)
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and highly organised person for a newly created role to act as coordinator and developer for the new European Innovation Council-funded 'SOLARSPOON' project, working across five international partner institutions. This multifaceted role supports both scientific and administrative project activities, including communications, financial monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and event delivery. The role also calls for the development and authorship of grant applications to sustain this project and start new projects. As a central member of the team, the role holder will play a key part in driving forward collaborative research initiatives and ensuring the successful delivery of project milestones.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level / level 6 vocational qualification or an equivalent level of practical experience. With a demonstrable advanced knowledge of Project Coordination involving a critical understanding of relevant theory and/or principles, the successful candidate will be experienced in grant/project management and scientific reporting, writing content for websites, and working with budgets. They will also have excellent written communication skills to enable the writing and editing of both scientific and non-scientific documentation, excellent problem-solving skills plus the ability to prioritise own workload and work both independently and as part of a team.
The role is suitable for a minimum of 25 hours per week up to full time, days and hours to be worked will be negotiable on appointment if part time is preferred. The funds for this post are available until 31 October 2029 in the first instance.
