Project Coordinator - Examinations (Accessibility)

About This Opportunity

Step into an impactful role where you can make a real difference to students at UQ. As Project Coordinator for Examinations, you’ll lead a three-year initiative to transform how examination adjustments are delivered across the University.

Working in partnership with Examinations, Student Support and Wellbeing Services, and academic teams, you’ll improve systems, streamline processes, and strengthen communication to create a more accessible, consistent, and student-centred experience. By the end of the appointment, you will have delivered a sustainable, embedded framework that strengthens equity and operational efficiency long into the future.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Lead a transformation that removes barriers and improves equitable outcomes for students
  • Analyse end-to-end workflows, identify gaps and opportunities, and implement more efficient, streamlined solutions
  • Build strong relationships and influence stakeholders to enable change
  • Ensure alignment with legislation, policy, and best practice while maintaining academic integrity

About You

  • Proven experience driving process improvement or system implementation projects in dynamic environments, delivering practical, scalable outcomes
  • Strong capability in mapping and redesigning workflows to remove inefficiencies and create smoother, more effective operations
  • Confident project coordination skills, including planning, stakeholder engagement, tracking milestones, and delivering clear reporting
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to translate complex information into clear documentation, guidance, and stakeholder-ready materials
  • Skilled relationship builder who can engage, influence, and collaborate effectively across diverse teams and competing priorities
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail, supported by experience in change management and an understanding of accessibility and disability-related compliance in assessment contexts

Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of relevant pre-employment checks, which may include verification of the right to work in Australia, qualifications, criminal history checks.
