Description of Duties: Responsible for the leadership, coordination, and oversight of the Advancing Simulation Technology Education Pathways program at Rose State College. This includes program management, fiscal oversight, and strategic alignment with industry partners in the aerospace, defense, and healthcare sectors. This position is contingent upon the availability of external and/or grant funding. Set the strategic direction for the Simulation Technology program, fostering innovation and growth to meet evolving workforce needs. Manage all aspects of grant administration, including budget oversight, compliance with funding requirements, and financial reporting. Lead cross-functional collaboration between academic departments, industry partners, and workforce agencies to design and deliver relevant educational pathways. Oversee the development and continuous refinement of the A.A.S. degree, ensuring curriculum reflects current and future industry standards in developing a self-sustaining program post-grant completion. Serve as the primary liaison to grant partners, industry stakeholders, and college leadership, representing the program's interest and facilitating partnerships. Lead communication and outreach efforts to build program visibility, attract students, and engage employers.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent and (2) years related experience; Demonstrated success in program or grant management within workforce development, technical education, or a related field. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel). Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Proven ability to manage complex budgets, timelines, and compliance reporting. Proficient in data analysis and performance assessment.
Desired Qualifications: Master's degree in aviation-related field, education, business, workforce development, or related discipline. Extensive experience leading multi-stakeholder initiatives in higher education or workforce training. Track record of successful program development and industry partnership cultivation. Strong strategic planning and organizational skills. Knowledge of simulation technology trends and workforce ecosystem dynamics.
