Project Manager
Scope of Position
Responsible for supporting larger projects and planning and leading small projects under the guidance of the Administrative Director or Project Manager/Sr. Project Manager. Coordinates small teams of individuals (usually under 5 project resources) to manage projects that meet the needs of the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center(OSUWMC) Supply Chain Department.
Position Summary
Serves as a leader of Supply Chain initiatives of small complexity and is assigned to support components of larger, high-complexity initiatives. Responsibilities are carried out by applying industry standards across the project lifecycle, including Initiation, Planning, Execution, Transition, and Close.
This role supports successful adoption of operational and process changes by coordinating project activities, stakeholder engagement, communication, and transition planning. As part of project execution and sustainment, the role supports onboarding, training coordination, and competency assurance activities associated with new workflows, systems, or operational changes.
Performs essential functions required to ensure consistent, quality, and successful project delivery while interacting with diverse stakeholders under guidance. Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple priorities, project details, and change impacts while promoting trust, teamwork, transparency, and customer satisfaction. Maintains a focus on continuous improvement and professional development to advance project management maturity and operational effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of project coordination or project management experience in an operational or healthcare environment.
