"Quality Analyst Engineer I"

Working with one of our development teams to write and execute test cases based on requirements written by the product team and reporting on the status of the execution of those tests throughout the process. The ideal candidate will be someone that is able to think creatively about how an application is used and how we can ensure that the end user is getting what they expected.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• 20%: Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures
• 20%: Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
• 20%: Analyze data to identify or resolve operational problems
• 20%: Write, execute and monitor automated testing suites
• 20%: Perform exploratory testing for application under testing

Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies

A bachelor's degree and some knowledge SQL testing and Agile software development, and experience with Microsoft Powershell, software testing, and writing test cases is required. ASTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level, experience with deployment automation tool such as GCP, Azure, Openshift etc, knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology, and experience with Jira, TFS or a related SDLC application preferred.

Effective communication both verbally and in writing. Ability to intuitively reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature. Excellent computer and organizational skills.
