Job Description
HPC Lab in the CS department is seeking a highly motivated and talented MS graduate to join our research group as a Research Associate. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in high-performance computing, FPGA-acceleration, and big data analytics. The successful candidate will work closely with faculty and other graduate students on developing scalable algorithms for large-scale similarity search and designing innovative storage systems.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct original research in FPGA-accelerated Computing
- Develop, implement, and evaluate similarity search algorithms on FPGA devices
- Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science
- Strong programming skills in C++
- Familiarity with parallel computing, cloud platforms, or data analysis frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Prior research experience is preferred but not required
