Research Associate (Postdoc) in Information Systems Engineering

Successful candidates will join the FINATRAX Research Group, which focuses on emerging technologies like Digital Identities, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain (DLT), and the Internet-of-Things, with applications in Financial Services, Public Sector, and Energy.

Your Role

• Conduct cutting-edge research in areas such as design science research, emerging technologies like blockchain and AI, integrating AI/ML into information systems, AI explainability, multi-robotic process automation, and evaluating information systems.
• Disseminate results through scientific publications.
• Communicate with stakeholders in government and companies.
• Prepare research proposals and manage projects.
• Mentor and supervise PhD students.

The position offers two career paths: academic (focusing on publications, grants, and teaching) and industry (building partnerships and preparing for industry roles).

Your Profile

• PhD in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in research methods and interest in publishing in high-ranked journals.
• Collaborative, autonomous, and excellent English communication skills.
