RESEARCH INVESTIGATOR
The Burant Lab at the University of Michigan is seeking a research investigator for a project that involves working with the Molecular Transducers of Physical Activity Consortium (MoTrPAC) to analyze, integrate and interpret the multiomics data generated by the consortium to understand the biological response to acute exercise and to exercise training. Independent of the consortium, the focus will be to develop more bioinformatics approaches for the analysis and interpretation of the large multiomics data.
- Doctoral degree in Bioinformatics or closely related field.
- Two or more years of postdoctoral work.
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Recognized contributions to the field
- Demonstrated leadership in scholarly dissemination and service
- Experience in grant writing and collaborative research
- Excellent written and communication skills
