Job Description Summary
Oversees complex clinical research projects with limited oversight from senior leadership. Coordinates multicenter studies, ensures adherence to protocols and SOPs, and develops quality assurance processes. Contributes to protocol and budget development, supervises project staff, and manages performance. Facilitates grant applications, stakeholder communication, and compliance with regulatory and institutional requirements.
Position contingent upon funding.

Job Responsibilities
- The Hepatology Research Project Manager will work independently with minimal supervision. The primary functions of this position will be to supervise and provide support to the clinical research staff, conduct clinical trials and oversee the orientation and training of research personnel. He/She will manage all aspects of the Hepatology Clinical Research Program. The first component of this position will be to manage personnel in the group including hiring, orientation, workload, assignments, staffing, and performance evaluation and management. The second component will be collaborating with the Director of the Hepatology Research Program and the Principal Investigator/Sub Investigators in determining projects and providing support to the Investigators. The third component will be conducting clinical trials with Project Manager and coordinator responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 5-7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Master's degree and 3-5 years of experience preferred.
- Management and supervisory experience preferred. Effective problem solving abilities, effective communication and writing skills preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects required. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. Applicant must be able to appropriately prioritize, manage time effectively and exercise mature
