Research Technician
The Mood and Personality Studies Lab in the Department of Psychology is looking for a Research Technician to assist with conducting a series of studies to better understand resiliency and mood/personality disorders in young adults. We are looking for someone to join our team who can help conduct and manage these studies.
Responsibilities of the position include working with the team to design studies and design stimuli, screening and enrolling participants, conducting data collection sessions, managing participant data, working with the team to analyze data, writing and preparing manuscripts for publication, overseeing the work of undergraduate research assistants, and engaging in outreach efforts to disseminate findings.
Minimum Required Education
High School diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
At least one year of relevant experience.
Desired Qualification
Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience with data analysis, and demonstrated critical thinking abilities. Prior experience conducting research with human participants, along with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
The pay range for this job profile is $15.86-$20.74. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
