Job Description
Griffith University is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Manager to oversee the planning, management, and coordination of minor and major capital works, maintenance, and infrastructure projects. This role will play a crucial part in the closure of the Mount Gravatt campus, scheduled for 2025. The successful candidate will ensure that all projects are delivered efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with the Griffith University Design Guidelines & Procedures, and Campus Life Project Management & Contract Administration Procedure.
- Ensure successful delivery of all projects within an allocated programme, based on the time, cost and quality standards required by the University.
- Liaise extensively with internal clients.
- Perform detailed programme reporting functions upwards.
About you
- The occupant of this position will hold tertiary qualifications in a Construction related discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant skills, knowledge and experience.
- Proven experience in managing capital works, maintenance, and infrastructure projects under various contractual arrangements.
- The ability to clearly communicate with a diverse range of people and organisations is essential.
- Ability to provide project leadership and foster a positive team environment for the project management team, design consultants, builders, other project stake- holders and University staff.
- Extensive technical problem-solving skills are essential for this position.
What we can offer
- HEW Level 10 base salary $136,032 + 17% superannuation per annum. Salary packing including 17% employer superannuation $159,158 per annum.

This is a fixed term (until 31 December 2025), full time position and will be primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations. Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
