About the Role
The Rural Student Services Officer plays a key role in supporting medical, nursing, and allied health students undertaking rural placements as part of the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RHMT) program. Working as part of the Rural Education Team, this position ensures high‑quality administrative coordination, positive student experiences, and strong relationships with regional health partners. Based at the Renmark campus, the role contributes to enhancing rural training pathways and strengthening the future rural health workforce.
- Providing consistent, high‑quality administrative support for rural teaching and learning activities, ensuring compliance with RHMT program requirements.
- Delivering excellent customer service across the student lifecycle by responding to queries and supporting academic and operational processes.
- Collaborating with the Rural Education Team and stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and enhance student and community engagement.
- Assisting with planning, delivery, and reporting of events, functions, and activities that promote rural training pathways and the RHMT program.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to prepare quality correspondence, reports, and engage confidently with students, staff, and health professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within a team, share information, and build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the capacity to learn new systems quickly, along with sound financial administration skills to support monitoring and reporting requirements.
