RMI Administrative Assistant

Position: RMI Administrative Assistant

Department: Lundy-Fetterman School of Business

Status: Part Time

Position Summary:

Campbell University is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our Lundy Fetterman School of Business. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills, experience in scheduling, and a background in the insurance industry and risk management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Duties:

  •  Provide comprehensive administrative support to the RMI Director in launching the new program.
  •  Handle assigned incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  •  Assist with other RMI faculty needs and RMI event planning.
  • Coordinate RMI field trips with the insurance industry.

Writing:

  •  Draft, edit, and proofread a variety of documents, including reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  •  Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and communications.
  •  Ensure all written content adheres to university standards and guidelines.

Scheduling: 

  •  Coordinate and manage calendars for Risk Management Institute Director, including scheduling RMI events, workshops, and conferences.
  •  Handle travel arrangements and itineraries for RMI faculty, staff and students.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational or insurance/risk management setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Candidates should also have a general understanding of the insurance industry.
