Security and Intelligence/Methods Assistant Professor
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for an IR/Comparative Assistant Professor position in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, with a research and teaching focus on Security and Intelligence/Methods. This nine-month position in the Political Science and Public Administration Department has the duties and responsibilities of research and teaching in the area of Security and Intelligence/Methods. It is a research-intensive position with a standard 2-2 course load.
Minimum Experience / Education:
UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Political Science or a related field at the time of appointment. Candidates must have research and teaching expertise in Security and Intelligence, as well as research methods. They must exhibit promise of research and teaching excellence in both areas.
