About the role:

We are seeking a Security Operations Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the delivery of effective and professional security services across the University.
In this role, you will coordinate daily security operations, manage incidents, support emergency response, and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety and security frameworks.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of effective security and traffic services to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff, students, and visitors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the implementation and development, maintenance, and review of security-related policies, procedures, plans, and reporting frameworks in line with university requirements and best practices.
- Review security incidents to identify risks, non-compliance, and recommend mitigation strategies.
About you:
You are proactive, highly organised, and committed to maintaining a safe campus. You bring:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement in safety and security practices.
- Desirable: A current security licence and/or qualifications in risk management, security, or a related field.
- Desirable: Experience in security operation, preferably within a complex operational site such as a university, hospital, or large precinct.
An on-call penalty allowance is applicable for this role.
