Description

The Department of Management and Organizations at the Stern School of Business, New York University, is recruiting tenure-track Assistant Professors in the fields of Strategy and Organization Theory for its New York campus. Responsibilities include teaching core strategy and elective courses and conducting rigorous academic research. We offer world class compensation and benefits packages.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $270,000. This pay range represents base pay only (for 9 months) and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a PhD or must have successfully defended their doctoral dissertation prior to appointment. In addition, candidates will be evaluated on their potential to produce high quality research and succeed in teaching a diverse student body (at the undergraduate, MBA and/or PhD levels). The position is expected to commence September 2025.
