Position Title Senior Analyst and Research Coordinator Job Category Administrative Staff Salary Range $76,406 - $82,107 Position Type Full Time Department Institutional Effectiveness Job Summary The Senior Analyst and Research Coordinator interprets data and turns it into actionable information to improve CCM student success, student experiences, retention and graduation metrics, critical business processes, and/or practices of the college all aimed at achieving our mission. The Senior Analyst and Research Coordinator gathers data and information from various sources and interprets patterns and trends using software and knowledge in a rigorous research and analytical process. The Senior Analyst and Research Coordinator will utilize the data to foster meaningful actionable outcomes that are data driven which support the achievement of the strategic mission, operational process, college’s strategic goals and KPI’s. (closing the loop). Qualifications - Education Education: Master’s degree in the Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Behavioral Sciences, or related field requiring data use, research, and/or analytics preferred Qualifications - Experience Job Experience: A minimum of four years of analytical experience, preferably in Higher Education, with significant experience in research, data analysis, and using databases and environmental scanning techniques. Qualifications - Skills Other (KSAOs): Proficiency with data management tools ( SQL, Power BI, Tableau), statistical software (R, SPSS ), predictive analytics, data visualization tools Critical thinker with ability to fit research into an integrated business model and produce patterns of student/client behaviors in oral and written formats. Excellent detail report writing and presenting summary reports. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. · Knowledge of research methods and design · SQL proficiency, storyboards, dashboards · Statistical analysis software – SPSS, R, Tableau etc. · Excel mastery – pivot tables, power query · Familiarity with higher education data · Understanding of underlying structure of relational databases · Familiarity with data warehousing concepts · Experience creating analytical datasets from warehouse data Work Hours 8:30am – 4:30pm

Located on 222 acres of rolling terrain in Randolph, County College of Morris (CCM) has been meeting the educational and training needs of residents and businesses in Morris County for 50 years. The college first opened its doors to students in 1968 after Henderson Hall, the first building on campus, was completed. The first class consisted of 592 full-time and 703 part-time students.
