About the Role
The Senior Manager, Sector Engagement plays a key leadership role in building strategic partnerships and driving growth across the aged care sector.
Under broad direction, you will lead national stakeholder engagement efforts to support ARIIA’s strategic goals and contribute to its transition toward a commercially sustainable business model. This includes fostering relationships with aged care providers, customers, and external stakeholders, while promoting uptake of ARIIA’s programs and consultancy services. You will identify and secure revenue opportunities through grants, tenders, commercial proposals, and philanthropic funding.
The role also involves expanding ARIIA’s network nationally and internationally, enhancing its profile and impact. To succeed, you will need a deep understanding of the aged care landscape and significant experience in the sector, enabling the delivery of best-practice engagement strategies that align with ARIIA’s mission and growth objectives. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of aged care innovation in Australia.
Located in Sydney or Melbourne (Desirable).
Aged Care Research and Industry Innovation Australia (ARIIA) continues to transform the way we care for Older Australians. Funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care, ARIIA delivers activities across three workstreams to improve aged care for all Australians. Bringing together consumers, industry and researchers, ARIIA translates research into practice to modernise and pave the way for sector wide improvements, making a real and meaningful change to the aged care sector.
About You
You are a strategic and collaborative leader with a passion for aged care innovation and stakeholder engagement. With extensive experience in the aged care and technology, or research sectors, you thrive on building meaningful partnerships and driving initiatives that create impact. You’ll lead and implement engagement strategies that promote ARIIA’s programs and services, identifying and securing commercial, grant, and philanthropic opportunities.
Your strong national presence and understanding of sector needs enable you to foster cross-sector collaborations that co-design and deliver innovative solutions for aged care providers and their workforce. You bring a hands-on approach to supporting organisations through project ideation, planning, implementation, and scaling.
Skilled in stakeholder management and project delivery, you’ll also contribute to ARIIA Network activities in collaboration with our Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone with a commercial mindset, a deep knowledge of aged care, and a desire to lead change in a dynamic, purpose-driven organisation.
