Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000/Annualized, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.

Job Summary
The Senior Program Coordinator, Leadership and Development performs advanced program administration, development, and coordination. This role is responsible for all phases of program development and coordination of program activities. Provides proactive support to the College of AI, Cyber and Computing students to promote retention, timely graduation, and career preparation. Coaches develop individualized success plans, conduct proactive outreach, and connect students with academic, financial, and personal resources. The role also includes facilitating workshops, responding to early alerts, and implementing inclusive support practices.
Core Responsibilities
- Administers, coordinates and participates in assigned programs or projects, including budgeting, scheduling, marketing, training, and evaluating programs.
- Develops and implements standards for attaining program goals and objectives.
- Maintains frequent interaction with departments, special groups, and external agencies in administering programs.
- Facilitates the development of new partnerships for various programs.
- Evaluates and reports on program results.
- Recommends new policies and procedures for improvement of program activities.
- Coordinates staff training and development.
- Provides proactive coaching to an assigned caseload of students.
- Develop individualized success plans based on the Clifton Strengths assessment and monitor student progress.
- Conduct outreach and respond to early alerts to support persistence.
- Connect students to tutoring, counseling, and campus resources.
- Facilitate workshops on study skills, time management, advocacy, and self-advocacy.
- Maintain accurate case notes and use student success platforms, such as Inspire and Degree Works.
- Determines work priorities.
- Works on special projects as assigned.
- Participates in professional seminars and meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Five (5) years of professional experience in program administration or coordination.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience in program development.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to interact professionally with faculty, staff, students, and the public.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Independent decision-making and problem-solving ability.
Working Conditions
- Office environment.
- Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions, or other business-related events.
- Occasional after-hours and weekend work or overtime may be required.
Physical Demands
- Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required, only occasionally.
- Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
This position will work primarily on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
This position is contingent upon a successful background check. Verification of a valid driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) may be completed as applicable. Applicants selected must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States by time of hire.
