Salary Range
$60,918 - $67,450 annualized, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.

Job Summary
The Project Manager provides skills and expertise necessary to analyze, organize, coordinate, and manage projects to improve operational efficiencies in support of initiatives in the Office of the President and institutional priorities. This role is responsible for developing and implementing changes and managing projects based on the thorough review and analysis of current policies, resources, operations, processes, and procedures. The position manages all projects, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, oversight and management of the project. This position helps ensure alignment, progress, and operational effectiveness across cross-functional initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Develops and implements projects, activities, and tools to assist with the coordination and communication of business operations.
- Tracks project status and generates reports for management review.
- Provides support to assigned university committees by attending meetings, drafting meeting summaries, and managing timelines and deliverables.
- Develops action plans, engages team members, and manages the rollout of assigned projects. Tracks project status, milestones, and deliverables; prepares updates and reports for leadership review.
- Identifies and analyzes issues, risks, and interdependencies, determines improvements, and escalates issues when appropriate.
- Resolves issues and manages changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Assists with procurement of necessary materials and equipment and associated budget management.
- Coordinates workflows, forms, and requests in support of project execution and business operations. Processes forms and requests as needed in support of business operations.
- Works on assigned projects with internal and external stakeholders to support alignment, communication, and timely delivery of initiatives.
- Maintains project files, records, and support documentation.
- Prepares surveys, studies, reports, and associated correspondence as required.
- Manages client activity, including database entry of activities performed, preparing reports, and monitoring goal activity.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Three (3) years of related work experience including project management/coordination, planning, and tracking of high-level initiatives and events.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.

Working Conditions
Office environment. Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions, or other business-related events. Workdays, areas, and work hours may vary based on the needs of the department.
Physical Demands
Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required, only occasionally. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally
This position will work primarily on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
