The Role Are you hardworking, a team player and passionate about university education and the opportunities it can offer young people? The UK Recruitment team has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Senior Student Recruitment Assistant.

You will be a member of the UK Recruitment Operations team (UKRO) and will be the first point of contact for many prospective students and their influencers, answering queries to an excellent standard on a range of topics such as application support, entry requirements, course information and accommodation choices.

You will utilise various methods of contact to engage with prospective students, including the enquiries phone line, email, live chat, social media and in person. You will also be involved in high profile events such as Confirmation and Clearing and will occasionally support the delivery of a range of widening participation and recruitment activities, such as attending recruitment fairs, Open Days and helping successfully run our summer schools. All activity will contribute to ensuring that home recruitment targets included in the University's Student Recruitment Strategy and Access and Participation Plan are met.

The position is available on a full-time, permanent basis.

You should be willing work occasional weekends and outside of normal office hours to help with student recruitment events. You should also be willing to undertake a DBS check. There will be occasional travel to help with recruitment events.

There is a period during August where annual leave is restricted due to Confirmation and Clearing activities.

The UK Recruitment Team currently work flexibly enabling you to work in the office 3 days per week with the option to work the other 2 days at home (meetings, events and travel permitting).
