Required Relevant Education & Experience:

Education: Bachelor's degree (4 years) and 4 years of experience or 2 years of completed education and 6 years of experience, and at least 1 relevant IT certifications; Experience: Demonstratable experience working with server operating systems and/or cloud hosting environments, virtualization hypervisors, basic data networking, disk subsystem and storage technologies as well as a proven track record of successful system integration projects.

Position Details:

Indiana State University's Office of Information Technology has an immediate opening for a Senior Systems Integrator with in-depth knowledge and experience working with server operating systems and/or cloud hosting environments, virtualization hypervisors, basic data networking, disk subsystem and storage technologies. This exciting position works with a team of dedicated, customer focused professionals to provide reliable, high performing, and secure server systems for the University. The person in this position designs and develops advanced hardware and/or software integration in the ISU Technical Support unit, provides project leadership and technical assistance in the implementation of complex information systems and daily maintenance of such systems.

Required Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree (4 years) and 2 years of experience or 2 years of completed post-secondary education and 4 years of demonstratable experience working with server operating systems and/or cloud hosting environments, virtualization hypervisors, basic data networking, disk subsystem and storage technologies.
