(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Responsible for leading the staffing efforts for the university. Works with hiring managers on recruiting strategies, creative sourcing, screening candidates, interviewing and recommending candidates. Assist with hiring proposal calculations and collaborates with Compensation Team to determine and extend final offer. Collaborates with HRBPs and HR Generalists on identifying talent gaps and workforce planning.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with hiring managers to secure high level talent using creative sourcing techniques
- Collaborates with hiring departments to design recruitment strategy for difficult to fill positions
- Assists hiring managers by prescreening resumes/applications for assigned jobs
- Conducts in person or phone interviews with candidates using behavioral based interviewing strategies
- Provides recommended candidate slate to hiring managers
- Seeks out passive candidates through creative sourcing
- Consults with Compensation team on compensation analysis to determine market competitive and equitable salary recommendations
- Coordinates search committees and search committee training, including advising hiring
- Serves as a liaison with area employment agencies, industry associations and Department of Labor
- Completes reports on hiring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Works with hiring managers and HR Business Partners on future workforce planning
- Facilitates recruitment training for the applicant tracking system and associated hiring processes
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
Required Experience
Three (3) years of experience in recruitment hiring
Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

Advanced degree from an institution of higher education
Preferred Experience
Experience in higher education setting

Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite in particular Excel)

Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
