Job Summary

This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Assistant Director, Maintenance. This position will be responsible for maintaining the campus buildings, mechanical, electrical and life safety systems according to the facilities operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains building systems and components, including, but not limited to, HVAC mechanical systems and their individual components. This includes a basic working knowledge of DDC controls, boilers, chillers, and central plant theory and operation.
• Moves furniture, supplies, and other campus assets.
• Performs work associated with in-house construction and renovation projects.
• Keeps routine records and makes routine reports.
• Assists with setup and breakdown of facilities for meetings, classes, conferences, and events.
• Performs general building maintenance duties, such as repairing doors and hardware and various carpentry repairs.

Required Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Experience: Proficient in at least two recognized skilled trades, i.e., plumbing, electrical, and mechanical, carpentry, masonry, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of building maintenance procedures and products.

Proposed Salary

$18.27 - $21.63/ hourly
