Specialist II, Financial Aid
The purpose of this class is to perform skilled administrative work through the performance of numerous tasks associated with the delivery of financial aid. High school diploma/GED and five years related financial aid experience which includes; data entry, cataloging, editing, customer service, research and providing administrative support. experience working in an academic environment or Associate's Degree and three years related financial aid experience working in academic environment preferred.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.

- Respond to student inquiries relating to financial aid.
- Investigate and resolve student concerns.
- Develop and manage appropriate databases.
- Maintain current knowledge of financial aid regulations and federal tax law.
