We are seeking a Sr. Associate Director Executive Education who will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the seamless execution of all Executive Education programs across open enrollment, custom, and academy formats (in-person, virtual, and hybrid). Leading a dedicated delivery team, this role serves as the operational hub and primary point of coordination for live program delivery—triaging complex logistical challenges, driving cross-functional alignment, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and responsiveness.
Positioned at the intersection of program delivery, enrollment management, educational design, and client engagement, this role will collaborate closely with the leadership of the school’s Executive Education team. This position is accountable for end-to-end program execution—from logistics and stakeholder engagement to quality assurance and performance tracking—ensuring that every program reflects the organization’s educational mission, client expectations, and strategic business objectives.
This role will manage a small team of program delivery professionals within Executive Education.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Program Delivery & Operations
- Serve as the central triage point for Executive Education delivery, swiftly addressing operational issues and aligning resources in coordination with senior leadership.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of programs (open enrollment, custom, academies) across all modalities: in-person, virtual, and hybrid.
- Collaborate with Sr. Director, faculty and subject-matter experts to ensure delivery aligns with pedagogical objectives and appropriate technology.
- Manage program logistics, enrollment processes, and the administration of platforms such as Canvas, Zoom, and other engagement tools.
- Ensure a high-quality, consistent participant experience, including materials, communications, feedback collection, and post-program follow-up.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements and operational innovations in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
- Serve as a strategic partner to the Sr. Director in advancing quality assurance and continuous improvement across the program portfolio.
- Analyze program outcomes, participant feedback, and performance metrics to identify trends, inform decision-making, and guide enhancements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership across Education, Operations, and Business Development to document and refine workflows, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and alignment with organizational standards.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and manage the program delivery team—the largest and most critical function of the role—ensuring excellence in execution, accountability, professional development, and team morale.
- Act as the primary liaison for faculty, clients, senior leaders, vendors, and internal service units (IT, operations, events), ensuring effective coordination and high-touch program delivery.
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, business development, learning design, finance, and others to align program delivery with strategic priorities and client needs.
Financial & Budget Oversight
- Partner with finance to develop, manage and report on budgets for all programs.
- Monitor costs, margin, vendor contracts, and ensure financial accountability in program delivery.
Strategic & Innovation Leadership
- Identify opportunities for new delivery models (e.g. hybrid, online, micro learning, modular formats) to expand reach and impact.
- Keep up to date with trends, technology, best practices in noncredit space.
- Develop and enforce policies, methods, and standards that scale as the program portfolio grows.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Five years progressively responsible experience in program administration in an academic environment.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a related field.
- Seven years progressively responsible experience in program administration in an academic environment.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM.

Starting Salary Range: $64,600 - $113,300 Annually ($90,000 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)
