Job Details

Johns Hopkins, founded in 1876, is America's first research university and home to nine world-class academic divisions working together as one university.

We are seeking a Sr. Associate Director Executive Education who will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the seamless execution of all Executive Education programs across open enrollment, custom, and academy formats (in-person, virtual, and hybrid). Leading a dedicated delivery team, this role serves as the operational hub and primary point of coordination for live program delivery—triaging complex logistical challenges, driving cross-functional alignment, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and responsiveness.

Positioned at the intersection of program delivery, enrollment management, educational design, and client engagement, this role will collaborate closely with the leadership of the school’s Executive Education team. This position is accountable for end-to-end program execution—from logistics and stakeholder engagement to quality assurance and performance tracking—ensuring that every program reflects the organization’s educational mission, client expectations, and strategic business objectives.

This role will manage a small team of program delivery professionals within Executive Education.

  • Ensure a high-quality, consistent participant experience, including materials, communications, feedback collection, and post-program follow-up.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements and operational innovations in collaboration with key stakeholders.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Sr. Director in advancing quality assurance and continuous improvement across the program portfolio.
  • Analyze program outcomes, participant feedback, and performance metrics to identify trends, inform decision-making, and guide enhancements.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership across Education, Operations, and Business Development to document and refine workflows, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and alignment with organizational standards.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and manage the program delivery team—the largest and most critical function of the role—ensuring excellence in execution, accountability, professional development, and team morale.
  • Act as the primary liaison for faculty, clients, senior leaders, vendors, and internal service units (IT, operations, events), ensuring effective coordination and high-touch program delivery.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, business development, learning design, finance, and others to align program delivery with strategic priorities and client needs.

Financial & Budget Oversight

  • Partner with finance to develop, manage and report on budgets for all programs.
  • Monitor costs, margin, vendor contracts, and ensure financial accountability in program delivery.

Strategic & Innovation Leadership

  • Identify opportunities for new delivery models (e.g. hybrid, online, micro learning, modular formats) to expand reach and impact.
  • Keep up to date with trends, technology, best practices in noncredit space.
  • Develop and enforce policies, methods, and standards that scale as the program portfolio grows.

Minimum Qualifications
