As Start‑up Growth Manager, you will design and improve offerings that drive growth in revenue, capital access, team expansion, and market reach, while managing relationships with founders, mentors, and institutional partners. You’ll also coordinate Landing Pad contributors, organise community‑building events, and support both inbound and outbound market entries between the Americas and Singapore.

📋What are the essential qualifications and skills for this role?

The Start‑up Growth Manager must have 3–5 years of experience in startup ecosystem development or a closely related field. Key competencies include exceptional relationship‑building and communication skills to earn trust from founders, mentors, and investors across cultures, strong organisational and multitasking abilities, and a proven track record of aligning startup support activities with measurable outcomes. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, or a related discipline is preferred, as is familiarity with maritime/deep‑tech sectors and cross‑border startup support. For application tips, see our guide on crafting a winning CV.

⚓Is prior experience in the maritime industry mandatory?

However, familiarity with the maritime or deep‑tech sector and exposure to cross‑border market entry initiatives (especially involving the Americas) will give you a strong advantage. The role focuses on startup growth management and ecosystem building, so transferable skills in entrepreneurship support, mentorship programmes, and stakeholder engagement are equally valued.
